A No Training Wheel Family

Today Riley learned how to ride her bike. Last weekend Macey did it so of course Riley had to do it too!! She still needs a little help getting started but she is doing great!! Also today, Macey learned to get started on her own. She wobbles a little at first but when she gets her balance she takes off. We are all so proud and excited!! Macey said tonight " now we are a no training wheel family".

Daddy's First Day of School

Today was Bobby's first day of school. He started tonight with his Algebra class. He also started 2 online classes. Tomorrow night he starts his English class. This is going to be a crazy couple of years but we are excited for him.

No More Training Wheels

Today, Macey decided she wanted to take off her training wheels. When she first started this morning we thought it would take some time for her to learn but she got it so quick!! By the evening she was riding so good!! Riley decided that she needed to learn too. We took off her training wheels this evening. She keeps forgetting to petal and she's so worried that we will let go. We will work with her more tomorrow but I'm sure she will pick it up just as quick!!

Our First Sleepover

On our trip to OKC we stayed with the Stevenson Family. The girls all stayed up until 1am but they had so much fun!! This was our first sleepover with friends. Thanks for all the fun Matt, Betsy, Reagan and Avery!!

Welcome Magnolia Riley May (Maggie)

Well we have been patiently awaiting the arrival of Baby May!! Last Thursday she decided to make her appearance to the world...yes I did say SHE!! We made a flying trip to OKC but she came before we could get there. The new mommy and baby Maggie are doing great!! Maggie was born 5 weeks early weighing in at 5 lbs. 11 oz.

Yesterday was our first Sunday in Amarillo and we visited our first church. It was great!! I could just give up the search and go there but not sure where God wants us to go. Great worship service and wonderful preaching!! We took our Sunday afternoon naps and woke up to storms. We got so much rain and wind but nothing severe. After the weather cleared we got a great reminder of one of God's promises. The rainbow in the sky just warmed my heart!! It was just a physical reminder that God is faithful and always keeps His promises. What a blessing!! There is one area of my life that I seem to struggle with letting go and letting God take control. He is so loving and patient, teaching me and showing me that He always keeps His promises!!

Our God is Good!!

Well, we completed our first week of our new life in Texas. Although I am missing my friends terribly, I can see God at work!! Sometimes God takes us away from all we know, takes us out of our comfort zones and does it for His glory. This is one of the hardest things I've ever done. But God is good!! He is answering prayers!! God has given me a peace that I've never known. He is transforming my heart and attitude. He is making me a better mother and renewing my marriage like never before. God is good!!

We Are Here!!

We are now officially Texan's again. We moved to Amarillo 2 days ago. Bobby has been working here for 3 weeks and we are so glad to be with him again!! Right not we are staying with his mom and grandma. Our house will be ready Sept. 4th. We are having a good time here but we will be glad to have our own house and get back to our life!! Right now we are trying to have some kind of routine. Bobby is working nights right now. It's hard for him to leave us everyday at 4 but that's what he has to do right now.
